As Lightfoot looks to further grow internationally, Lightfoot presented at a UKTI event at the Americas Cup in Portsmouth. Lightfoot heard of some potential opportunities abroad and has successfully extended our network of contacts.

After adding unit D1 to the Lightfoot footprint the refurbishment of the offices at Lightfoot is now complete. It allows for a better engagement and more cohesive working environment for current staff and the additional staff required as the company continues to grow.
Shortly after supplying the first of the oil and gas units, Lightfoot engineers have now successfully completed the installation and commissioning of the refrigeration equipment for an Oil Platform in refit. Adding another skill-set to the variety of skills Lightfoot can offer.
As part of the continual growth of Lightfoot, Unit D1 was today added to the infrastructure at the Fareham Head Office. The additional space will be used as a clean assembly and testing environment.
Having completed the design and manufacture work Lightfoot has, today, successfully delivering its first of 4 units to the oil and gas industry. The project involved supplying 2 refrigeration and 2 AHU units. This is to support a programme of retrofitting refrigerant to meet European Legislation.

Lightfoot has now completed extended production runs of its MKII refrigerant recycling unit. The unit has now been commissioned and is in operation in the customers’ facility. The unit will recycle refrigerant back to virgin standards. This is certified by an independent laboratory after each production run.
The new year sees the 6th RN vessel receive an Air Conditioning plants upgrade for this class. This is Phase 1 of a complete overhaul of the installed equipment which will ensure the vessels can operate globally in the extreme temperatures that are now experienced.
